Clearing out your old treasures? – share and repurpose them with RAW.

In Excess needs stock.  Can you help? 

We’ll gratefully take anything from furniture to smaller household items, clothing and personal effects.

In Excess is at 92 Commerce Street, Hamilton, Mon – Fri 10 – 4, Sat 11 – 2.


Transition Programme

We’re in the process of adding new content to Transition.  The aim is to provide a variety of life skills and experience in the first 12 weeks before big decisions are made around study and work direction.  Some of the Transition content is offered to everyone in the programme.  New content includes Te Reo Maori, art classes, first aid, compulsory parenting courses, study preparation and IT skills, regular fitness programme, driving lessons and knitting.  Can you help with:

  • Guiding ½ – 1 day tramps
  • Art/Craft projects eg. making gifts leading up to Christmas
  • Tutoring in Apple Sibelius, Logic Pro and Pro Tools 10
  • Tutoring in Photoshop
  • Knitting lessons
  • Work experience opportunities (weekly and summer period)
  • Volunteering (one-off and regular weekly) opportunities
